Your donations are what make it possible for the Friends of the Library to provide support to the Memphis Public Libraries. Thanks to the effort of our volunteers and generosity of our members, we generate funds through Second Editions Bookstore, our semi-annual sales, and our Amazon.com storefront.
You can make a financial contribution to the Friends of the Library here.
We accept donations of gently-used books, CDs, vinyl records, DVDs, Blu-Rays and magazines in any quantity.
You can bring donations to any of the 18 Memphis library locations or to Second Editions Bookstore at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library.
Large donations can be left at the loading dock in the rear of the Central Library (entrance on Walnut Grove). For exceptionally large donations (e.g. estate donations, libraries of 1000+ books) please contact us to coordinate.
